The Eco Energy Fair will be opened by Sarah Lewis, an award-winning environmental journalist and editor. She launched eco-ethical freesheet Rocks, set up the weekly environment section in The Argus, launched the Argus Eco-Awards and produced the 2009 Brighton and Hove Green Pages ethical directory. She was the 2007 London and South Environmental Journalist of the Year and has written for publications such as The Ecologist and The Guardian.
The Transition Brighton & Hove Energy Group is hosting an Eco Energy Fair on 17 October at the Hove Town Hall. The event will help the people of Brighton and Hove to be better informed about how they can manage their energy requirements more efficiently. The exhibition will be open from 11am – 4pm and there is a programme of short talks and information sessions, which are free to visitors. Entry fee is £3.
