Our Transition Brighton and Hove (TBH) Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be on Sat 24 October 2009 West Hill Hall, Compton Avenue (off Dyke Rd), Seven Dials, Brighton BN1 3PS 2.30pm - 6.30pm, followed by a party 7.00pm - later... hurrah!
All are very welcome to the AGM and to the party, regardless of how involved you have been with TBH until now, and you views are sought on the future of TBH (see below)
We have some key decisions to make about our future, including electing people to new roles in the 'Enabling Group', amendments to our constitution, agreeing new groundrules, brainstorming proposals for spending our recent grant, setting goals and milestones for the coming year.
It will also be an opportunity to celebrate what we've done so far, get to know each other better, welcome recent members, share some food, and to hear from the Transition Network about how things are going on beyond Brighton & Hove.
You are invited to send your (concise!) thoughts and suggestions about improving TBH to Martin (in confidence): livelihoods2020*AT*transitionbrightonandhove.org.uk
In particular:
What is it that you want TBH to do?
What would help you do what you want to do with or within TBH?
Which changes could make TBH better or more effective?
...or come along on Thurs 24 Sep, 6.00-8.00pm at The Werks 45 Church Road, Hove, BN3 2BE for our Constitutional Review
