The Transition Food and Allotment groups will be holding a jam jam on Saturday the 16th of August. 12–5pm, Transition Allotment site (next to Whitehawk Community Food Project), Whitehawk Hill allotments. Directions here. A jam jam you ask? Yes! We’ll be celebrating the abundance of blackberries on the Transition allotment site by having a mass-picking and jam-making session. Please come and join us, and if the mood takes you, bring along a musical instrument to jam along with the jam-making. Please also bring a clean jam jar and a wooden spoon if you can. Spare jam pots would also be much appreciated!
